Trisha Scarlett Milne paints strong watercolours that depict scenes from the landscapes and people she has seen. Besides watercolours from Cumberland and other places in British Columbia, she has paintings from the different countries in which she lived and taught for 10 years. In addition to studio work, she paints plein-air and has many watercolour sketches. Her paintings and prints are currently exhibited at Juniper Studio in Comox . In early 2018, her painting "Sweet Summer" is on display opposite the coffee shop in the Comox Valley Airport. Look for her paintings during the month of May of 2019, at the Bayside Coffee shop, opposite the Driftwood Mall in Courtenay. Come to visit Trisha in her studio from May 24- May 26 during the Comox Valley Arts Studio Tour. From July 16 to August 3rd the Pearl Ellis Gallery on Comox Avenue will feature her work and another artist, Heather Wilkinson , in a show called "Mostly Watercolours." A reception will be held from 1-4 on Saturday, July 19.
